Keith Jellerson
Keith has over 20 years experience in carpentry, masonry, and landscape construction. Before co-founding Avalon Northwest in 1996, Keith worked as a foreman of a local landscape construction company. Keith´s projects include a Mediterranean water garden that was featured in Seattle Homes and Lifestyles magazine. Keith has to his credit over fifty water features ranging in size from bubbling pots to thirty-foot ponds complete with streams and islands, landslide restoration projects including a forty-foot terraced stone and split block wall, and retaining walls using nearly every variety of stone available.
Kevin Monohan
A Pacific Northwest native – Kevin has worked with Avalon Northwest co-founder Keith Jellerson since 1995. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon. He has also studied overseas for a year in the Landscape Architecture program at New Zealand´s Lincoln University. Kevin is familiar with most of the residential landscape related professions. Before settling in Seattle in 1995, Kevin worked up-and-down the West Coast in landscape maintenance, landscape construction and installation, retail and wholesale nursery, urban forestry, and in an university horticulture and turf farm. Kevin has traveled the landscapes of South America, the South Pacific, New Zealand, and Australia. But it is the deep blues and greens of the Pacific Northwest that provide Kevin inspiration.
